Overseas warehouses are popular, and cross-border companies have rushed to enhance the shopping experience

DAthor:

As they are optimistic about the development prospects of cross-border e-commerce, more and more Chinese companies are choosing to rent or even build their own overseas warehouses to improve delivery efficiency and user experience. On eBay, a well-known cross-border e-commerce platform, among Chinese sellers with annual sales of more than 100,000 US dollars, the proportion of using overseas warehouses has exceeded 70%, which has more than doubled in one year.

About 22 percent of eBay's $82 billion in transactions is now cross-border. Peng Xiao, Director of eBay Greater China, said that since eBay began to get involved in cross-border e-commerce in 2007, the logistics has always been based on direct mail, but with the evolution and development of the cross-border e-commerce industry, more and more sellers use overseas warehouses .

According to eBay's data, although 80% of the transaction volume is currently completed through direct mail, the proportion of direct mail transactions is only 20%, which means that the remaining 80% of the transaction volume is through direct mail. The overseas warehouse is completed.

At the same time, Chinese sellers using overseas warehouses on eBay are multiplying. In the fourth quarter of 2014, about 32% of Chinese sellers with annual sales of more than $100,000 used overseas warehouses, but by the fourth quarter of 2015, this proportion had rapidly increased to more than 70%.
